Changes, changes
We're still not bored with what we do, we still want to become better and better, and that's why we still change. We've just deployed a new, hopefully very useful, functionality - handling the messages coming from the carriers. We took this opportunity to modify also the "look & feel" of our system (in both versions: desktop and mobile one): we modified our logo and adapted the colours and style of our websites to it. Working on it we were keeping in mind to prepare a service which would be as user friendly for sand-blind passengers as possible - that's why we were trying to create a high-contrast and good-readability design. We strongly believe the new versions of the passengers' websites are better than the previous ones, and we do hope you will find it too ;). However - all the constructive criticism, as always, is more then welcome.

Welcome to Stargard!
Not many know about it, but Stargard is one of the oldest towns in Poland. According to some sources, the first human settlements discovered in the area of the town, are from 6th century! And until 2011 Stargard was the biggest in Poland and one of the biggest in the world town with name referring to another town. That's when, as a result of previos referendum, the name of the town has been shortened from Stargard Szczeciński to Stargard. Few decads earlier, in 1961, due to enormous growth of the town and increasing transport needs, the public transport company "Miejski Zakład Komunikacji" has been funded. It still exists - but nowadays it's called "Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Sp. z o.o.". One of the main goals of the company is an improvement of the quality of its services in order to meet the passengers' expectations. And actually the deployment of our system in the town is an example of a perfect realization of this goal. New version of our mobile site!
Your - as of our users being passengers of our customers - sattisfaction and comfort have been always of the highest importance for us. Therefore, listening to your comments and advices we've just deployed a new version of our mobile site. What's new:
- the style corresponding to the desktop version of the site (but keeping the site simiple, intuitive and "light")
- handling of favorites added,
- handling of static timetables added,
- handling of trips' details added,
- easier change of carriers.
Launch of Public Transport in Strzelin
On the 1st of July, 2018, the Community of Strzelin has launched its own public transport services. The transportation in the community counting above 20,000 citizens is splitted over 12 routes, 2 of which travel only through the town of Strzelin, and 10 remaining ones are of a suburban type. What's important: all the routes are tracked by us - and therefore all the departures are available in real time - in our mobile applications and under strzelin.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl.
Środa Śląska - a public transport based on modern patterns
Starting with the end of January 2018 a public transport has been launched in the territory of Community of Środa Śląska. It is served by a company Średzka Komunikacja Publiczna Sp. z o.o.. Since its beginning a modernity is a key value for the company. And this is why electric vehicles are a big part of the fleet of the carrier, and also this is why our system monitoring the entire fleet has been deployed. Therefore - the departures of the public buses in Środa Śląska and its surroundings can be tracked in our applications as well as under srodaslaska.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl. Enjoy!
Cooperation between kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl and HereTechnologies
We're pleased to announce, that starting with beginning of this year we started to cooperate with Here Technologies copmany. In its frames the timetables' data coming from our system are available in a spread range of Here's products - i.e. in Here's maps, in service WeGo.here.com as well as in mobile applications GooglePlay and AppStore. We really hope that with it the usage of public transport will become even easier and more comfortable - thanks to more common access to the information about timetables, stops' locations and thanks to a possibility of planning the journeys with using the public transport. Przedsiębiorstwo Komunalne Sp. z o.o. w Raciborzu, the authority responsible for public transport in the town, has decided to deploy our service making it available to the passengers. The passengers can get the information by means of our mobile applications, via web site raciborz.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl, as well as via SMS - as a result of query "pl.kp.raciborz.id_of_bus_stop" sent to number 70711 (the fee: 50gr net/SMS).

MPK Brzesko is a transport agency, we're delighted to be in the service of. With the same, starting with 11th of September 2017, its passenger get an access to the real, i.e. based on the current position of the agency's vehicles, information about arrival times of the busses to particular bus stops. Mobile application "kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl" for OS Android based devices
We're glad to inform, that our official mobile application for users of Android system is now available in Google Play. With the application it is possible to check the real departure times of the public transport vehicles from particular stops, which can be chosen either from the list, or can be pointed on the map, or - can be found as a result of scanning its QR code. One can also start a navigation to a particular stop. In order to make the access to the most interesting information faster, the stops frequently used can be marked as favorite ones. We encourage everyone to use the application as well as to share with us any impressions you might have when using it!
When will the "ząbkobus" arrive?
Ząbki, is a typical dormitory town for Warsaw, with over 60 000 of inhabitants, out of which only ~50% is registered for permanent residence there. It's a very dynamic town, whose inhabitants are in a relation with the capital - either bacause of their work, or education - and therefore on a daily basis they need to travel to and from Warsaw. Since a few years more and more of young people move to Ząbki, as a result which it became a town with the highest natality rate in Poland. The authorities, in order to convince the inhabitants to register there, starting with 2011 have launched the program of free public transport. Its operator is currently agency PKS w Grodzisku Mazowieckim Sp. z o.o.. Currently there are 3 routes which connect the biggest settlements with transfer points and the most important connunity facilities. The transport services are integrated with public transport of Warsaw: every day the buses bring few tousands of passengers to railway stations and over o dozen of Warsaw bus routes. Unfortunately, the reality is that quite often the buses get stucked in completely unpredictable sub - Warsaw traffic jams, and the timetables are not kept. However, starting with now, the passengers of public transport in Ząbki, can find the answer to the question: "when will their 'ząbkobus' arrive".

Świnoujście in numbers
Świnoujście is the only Polish town located on tens of islands. Only 3 out of 44 islands are inhabitated, and the largest of them (Uznam) in ~10% belongs to Poland (while the rest lies in Germany) and that's the place where lives ~80% of population of Świnoujście. The fleet of the local public transport operator - "Komunikacja Autobusowa Sp. z o.o." consists of 17 buses and all of them are being monitored by kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl. All of over 40 000 of town's inhabitants as well as all of the numerous tourists are cordially invited to visit swinoujscie.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl.
Passenger information served by kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl presented on e-paper bus stop display
PKM Jaworzno on one of its bus stops has installed the first electronic paper display presenting passenger information. The key feature of the electronic paper is low energy consumption - as the energy is needed only to update the data. Thereby such a display doesn't need to be plugged in to the electricity but can be powered by photovoltaic cells. Depending on the results of testing the first display, PKM Jaworzno is going to consider the installation of next devices in the future.
Our system in Sieradz
Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji w Sieradzu Sp. z o.o. is another public transport company which decided to deploy kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl in its communication network. Public transport's passengers in Sieradz since now on can check when for real the bus they're waiting for will arrive to the bus stop. They can do it : - either visiting the page: sieradz.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl - or sending an SMS: "pl.kp.sieradz.id_of_bus_stop" to a number 70711 (SMS's cost is 0,62 PLN - and doesn't depend on GSM operator nor the tariff plan)
PKS w Strzelcach Opolskich S.A. is our customer, too!
PKS w Strzelcach Opolskich S.A. is the first of the companies derived from the company Państwowa Komunikacja Samochodowa, which decided to start using our system. We supply a monitoring of the fleet consisting of 42 buses travelling across the Opole voivodeship. The passengers are welcome at strzelceopolskie.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl!
Here it comes: our mobile application available to the Windows Phone's users
Starting with today our application "kiedyPrzyjedzie" is available to the users of Windows Phone platform. The application, apart of the standard functionality related to dynamic passenger information, offers also some additional features, some of which are:storing the frequently used bus stops as "favourite" ones
access not only to the predicted times of arrival of the vehicles, but also to their exact locations
navigation to the seleceted bus stop.
The application can be downloaded from Microsoft Store. We strongly believe the users will love it :). Nevertheless, we're constantly open to any suggestions or ideas of new features. Enjoy!
Miejski Zakład Komunikacyjny in Bielsko-Biała has just launched the real-time passenger information system
Being pride and really satisfied we have the honour to announce, that the next carrier using our system is Miejski Zakład Komunikacyjny w Bielsku-Białej. The whole fleet of its vehicles has been covered with our system, thanks to which the passengers can be notified about the real times of arrivals of the vehicles they're waiting for. Our service can be used in two different ways:
by visiting the page: bielsko.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl
by sending to 70711 an SMS containing: "pl.kp.bielsko.< stop_id >" - where the
is an identifier of the bus stop of their interest. The SMS' fee is constant, undepending on the GSM operator nor tariff plan: 62 gr.
Związek Komunalny Gmin „Komunikacja Międzygminna” in Olkusz uses our service
Związek Komunalny Gmin „Komunikacja Międzygminna” in Olkusz is an association aiming at providing the public transport services in the area of 4 its members: the communities of Olkusz, Klucze, Bolesław and Bukowno. Due to a fact that our system has just been launched there, the habitants of these communities using the transport services offered by ZKG KM in Olkusz, from now on have an access to the dynamic passenger information - available under olkusz.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl.

The operator of public transport in the area of town and community of Ostróda - the company Żegluga Ostródzko - Elbląska Sp. z o.o. - has just launched its fleet's monitoring by using our system. The first electronic bus stop displays produced by us installed in Jaworzno!
Few months ago there were new electronic bus stop displays installed in Jaworzno - the displays presenting the data from kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl system. As it was required, the tables have been built in LCD technology and have the diagonal of 46''. In the past we were integrating our system with electronic displays of many different manufacturers, but the new displays in Jaworzno are completely exceptional: as they have been built by us!

Łaziska Górne - yet another town with free public transport and - with our service
Łaziska Górne is a 22,000 citizens town located in Upper Silesia, which starting with 1st of January 2016 decided to join the towns which offer a free public transport services to their passengers. The carrier who performs the services ordered by the Local Authority in Łaziska Górne is a company Usługi Przewozowe Lucjan Brożek - the company which since the beginning was decided to monitor its fleet of vehicles with our system. Therefore - also the passengers can benefit: the passengers' panel is avaialble under brozek.kiedyPrzyjedzie.pl.
Crossing the borders
ZDAR a.s., a company providing public transport services in Žďár nad Sázavou, in several towns of the Vysocina and South Moravian Regions and supporting long-distance connections, e.g. to Prague, has become the first carrier in the Czech Republic to use our system.
